Mikayla Stock

Hi! I'm Mikayla, a senior in the Hotel School from Woodstock, NY. I love all things food, whether that be eating it, making it, or learning about it. Growing up around chefs, I’ve always been drawn to the excitement of the kitchen. As I got older, I became eager to understand the inner workings of the F&B industry, and eventually I found my way to food writing. Food is a constant thread in all the memorable moments of my life, and I can't wait to share its joy with you through Crème!

Megan Chin

Hi, my name is Megan, I’m a junior studying food science from Westchester, New York, and this year’s Vice President. Food has always been something that excites me and I’m so glad to share my interest with all the foodies here in Créme! I occasionally dabble in cooking and baking and I love trying new restaurants and ranking them on Beli (my account is @meganchin). Outside of my love for food, I also enjoy working out, reading, and following tennis.

Managing Editor

Retna Arun

Hello! I'm Retna, the Managing Editor for Crème this year. I'm a junior from Central Massachusetts studying Genetics, Genomics, and Development. I love food – trying new recipes, exploring restaurants with friends, and hearing about and experiencing all the memories, stories, and histories rooted in it! I also enjoy the outdoors, playing saxophone in the Marching Band, rewatching sitcoms, a London fog tea, snow, biking, and getting to know new people!

Sammie Lee

Wassup y'all! I'm Sammie, and I'm one of the Co-Layout Directors for Créme. I'm a junior from St. Louis, MO majoring in Health Care Policy. I love listening to all sorts of music and admiring plants (#flowergirly but I kill plants). I'm part of Créme to showcase the beauty of cuisine that's worthy of its taste :) I'm always down for a good excursion so give me a tap on the shoulder if you have any ideas. I also like to lift, play video games, and I've been getting into EDM. I'm always on the hunt for new restaurants so let me know if you need a rec!

Raissa Ji

Hi! I’m Raissa, a junior from the Bay Area, and I’m Crème’s Co-Layout Director and Graphic Design Lead! I’m a big fan of sandwiches (particularly paninis) and I would eat Van Leeuwen’s Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb ice cream for three meals a day if I could. I’m very excited for another great year and I’m happy that you’re here!

Demetra Sela

Hii:) I’m Demetra (Demi), the Photography Director for Créme! I’m a Sophomore from Beacon, NY majoring in food science with a passion for agriculture. Growing up, photography has been my way of capturing the essence of food. I am passionate about learning new skills and cultures (mostly food-related), gardening, going for walks, and playing volleyball. I am so excited to share my love for all things food through my lens, documenting not just meals, but the stories they tell and the relationships they nurture.

Hi! I’m Reilly, the Culinary Director for Crème. I’m a senior from Massachusetts, majoring in Nutritional Sciences and minoring in Business. My love for food drew me to Créme! Besides trying new food, I love how food creates a sense of community and is a way for people to express themselves. When I’m not in the kitchen baking or meal prepping, you’ll find me exploring new restaurants with friends, running, watching cooking shows, or reading!

Alexis Oh

Hi everyone! I'm Alexis, Crème's treasurer this year. I'm a sophomore majoring in Hotel Administration and am from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Some things I love to do are baking, trying new recipes/food, and watching Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. I'm excited to take on this role and work with the Créme family this year!

Hey! My name is Olivia and I'm the Alumni Affairs Director for Crème! I'm a junior from Long Island, NY, majoring in Hotel Administration and minoring in Nutrition. My favorite activities to do at Cornell include trying new coffee shops, going on hikes with friends, and snowboarding at Greek Peak. I love meeting new people and hearing about their foodie adventures so please reach out!

Hi, I'm Eirian and I'm the PR director this year! I'm a junior studying information science & English from NJ (the bagel capital). Besides Crème, I'm involved with the Asian & Asian American Center and CU Tonight. Outside of food and writing about food, I also love rock climbing, theater, and Irish contemporary fiction.

Emma Destito

Hey foodies!! My name is Emma Destito and I’m an Events Chair this semester. I’m a senior from Vermont studying government with a double minor in gender studies and law & society. I self-identify as a foodie and absolutely adore both cooking and eating! Outside of Crème, you can find me at a spin class, watching a murder documentary, playing with my cat (Toast), or cheffing up some Ghirardelli boxed brownies (they’re unrivaled, sorry!).

Hi!! I’m Elle - one of the Events Chairs at Crème. I’m a sophomore studying Design + Environmental Analysis, and I’m from the Bay Area and Tokyo. I love picnics, beach bonfires with s’mores, and nighttime baking- I’m always putting together food related activities :) In my free time I listen to lots of music, go out with friends, and walk around Ithaca’s Farmers Market!!

Lexie Goldman

Hey hey! I am Lexie and I am the Social Media Director for Crème. I am a senior from Chappaqua, NY, majoring in Policy Analysis and Management. When I’m not working, you can find me playing tennis on North or walking around the local trails. Food is a huge part of my relationship with my friends and family, we are often traveling across Westchester to try new restaurants. My friends and I first tried to bake macarons 8 years ago and let’s just say I’m still working on it. If anyone has any baking recommendations feel free to send them my way :)

Hi everyone! I’m Molly, Crème’s Social Media Coordinator and I’m a junior studying Hotel Administration. I am from the Boston area and love to try new food places! Weightlifting, painting, and listening to podcasts are some of my favorite activities! I have also been learning American Sign Language in my free time. I am always looking to try new foods/places in Ithaca so please reach out with any suggestions! Being a part of crème has been so lovely and I am so excited to take on a larger role in the club.

Charlie McDonell

Hey! I’m Charlie, a sophomore in Architecture from Toronto, Canada and Crème’s Layout Apprentice this semester. I’ve always been fascinated with how food affects my mood. Whether it’s a healthy and balanced lunch or my comfort dessert, I’m always trying to understand the foods that improve my physical and mental state. I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world and taste local cuisine from Bangkok to Quito. Even at home, I’m always looking to broaden my palette and develop a new comfort food. I also love to paint, draw, and blast music in the car!

Giuliana Keeth

Hey everyone! I’m Giuliana, the Editing Apprentice for Crème. I’m a junior from Northern Pennsylvania, studying Comparative Literature and Spanish. Coming from a multicultural family, holidays and special events were always filled with a rich variety of food, from fresh ceviche to steaming French onion soup, or even a cheesy skillet of ddakgalbi. My goal in life is to try a traditional dish from every country in the world. After a semester abroad in Paris, I was surprised by how many I already crossed off! Outside of writing and editing for Crème, I play the violin in the Cornell Chamber Orchestra and love photography—especially capturing the beautiful wildlife and forests in my hometown.

Hi! I’m Maddie and I’m the Culinary Apprentice for Crème! I’m a sophomore from Syracuse, NY, majoring in food science. I’ve always loved food, whether it’s watching cooking shows, helping out in the kitchen, or making dishes for others, food has been a big part of my life. I’m always looking for new restaurants and recipes to try (I especially like baking), so I’m always open to any recs! Outside of Crème, I enjoy thrifting, watching movies, crocheting, and listening to music!

Annabelle Bann

Heyy, I’m Annabelle (Photography Apprentice) and I’m a freshman from São Paulo, Brazil, studying Hotel Administration. I’ve always loved capturing moments through photos, especially when it comes to food. I also went to Le Cordon Bleu during my gap year —ask me about my six-hour final exam and sugar flower sculpture. My favorite foods include: bananas, cheesecake, Ferrero Rocher, and Morrison’s chia pudding. I also love graphic design, thrillers, and cats.
